RESERVATIONS

Availability of Rooms
Please complete the form on the right to check and confirm if we have rooms available for the period of your preference.

You will receive an email confirming the rates and availability, or asking for additional information before a definitive quotation. Once the quotation it is sent, automatically it is made a reservation valid 24 hours (only in case of stays reserved with a anticipation of 31 days or longer). The reservation it will be confirmed only after the funds corresponding to the full stay are available.

In case of reservations made from 0-30 days in advance, a confirmed reservation will be issued only after the advance payment of 100% of the cost of the stay.


Methods of Payment
Is possible to pay using foreign credit/debit cards, deposit in chilean or international banks accounts in chilean pesos, euros or US dollars.

Confirmation of Reservation
After the reception of the mayment, the passenger will receive a mail confirming the reservation giving details about the check-in and check-out dates. When the passengers arrives must not to pay any additional amount of money, not even tips, because all it is already payed in advance. The passenger must to pay separately if it buys something from the "boxes" found in each loft. The prices of the products on sale are similar to those in the stores. We will be very grateful if you let us to know your expected arriving time; that information will allow us to provide you with a better service.

Free Unbiased Information
Please fell free to ask about any aspect of your visit to Chile or Valparaíso, not only about your stay at the Apart Hotel La Matriz. You will receive free and unbiased opinions and you can reserve the services directly without our intervention, as is the case of the restaurants detailed in our website.


Cancelations and Refunds
From the total to be refunded, accordingly to the table below, will be deducted all additional costs or fees due to the cancelation, like Paypal, banking, credit/debitc ards, phone calls, bank transfer; the user will receive later a detail of the costs related with the refund.

- 0 a 7 days 0%

If you stay with us the 31st of December, the reservations are definitive and we do not accept anyrefund at all, independently of the reason. The only one alternative to get a refund it is to get for the Hotel a new passenger that pays the same or more than the original reservation. In any other date of the year it will be applied the general refund conditions.

Any damaged produced in the instalations of the Apart Hotel due to the bad use or robbery must to be reimbursed by the passenger, company or the institution responsible for the payment of the reservation as soon as it is demanded by the administration of the hotel; robberies will be inmediately reported to the police. For this effects , the passenger expressly accept as his/her legal address the city of Valparaiso (Chile), Santo Domingo 30.

Check-in and Check-out times
We try to be flexibles but it all depends of the particular situation of reservations in a specific moment. Our check-in is 12.30-22.00 horas (12.30-10 PM) and check-out 11.30; only if there is a previous agreement we receive passengers up tp 23.30 (11.30 PM); our lunch time it is 13.30-14.30 (1.30-2.30 PM) tiem when the reception of new passengers it is closed. Respecting these times allow us to provide a better service to our guests. In case you arrive before that time, ypou can leave you baggage at the hotel free of cost; the same applies if you leave your room and wants to wander around Valparaiso much later in the day.

No Hidden Comissions or Costs
Neither the Hotel nor any of our team receive any comission to recommend any restaurant, bar, tour, spectacle or transport alternative. In case that we receive comission, we will clearly say so in advance, and we will be responsible for the service. Conservation of Energy and Water
We try to apply a policy of conservation of energy in the hotel industry. Due to that we will be very grateful if you turn off the lights while you are not using it; in such way you will contribute helping to avoid the construction of big dams that destroys our nature. In this semidesertic zone, the water is scarse and expensive; some of it must to be taken from Andes Mountains (100km) or Lake Peñuelas (20kms). If you see some drops of water somewhere, please let us to know. Saving water helps to reduce costs and keep rates low for this type of hotel, that are much lower than international standards.
Normally we provide new linens and towels every 2-3 days, unless a passenger ask in advance for a different period. That simple measure allow us to reduce the consumption of water and, specifically, of cleaning powder that damage our environment, even if they are biodegradable.

We considerate that each complaint must to be answered in a timely and fair way. and they are a call of attention from a person (not only a customer) that needs a solution and helps us to provide a better service.
